This group introduces you to generative artificial intelligence (AI) and how it can be used in education. Through a series of engaging modules, you’ll have the chance to explore new ideas, practice using AI tools, and reflect on what you’ve learned. Each module focuses on a specific topic, giving you opportunities to build your skills, apply them in practical ways, and think about how they could impact your learning journey.

Log into Brightspace at https://mycourses.nic.bc.ca and on the main landing page look to the blue navigation bar to see “Discover“.
Discover lists all open courses you can access for free. Look for “Artificial Intelligence Student Exploration Group” or search for it in the search bar on Discover page. Click on “Enroll in Course” to add to your courses. Then click “Open Course“. Progress through the various modules each week to explore the dynamic world of GenAI.
