Learning Strategies

There are a number of evidence-based learning strategies and practices you can use to do well in your studies. There are also lots of myths and misconceptions about what works for studying and learning. This section of the site is geared to help you focus on the key strategies that will help you learn.

Six Strategies for Effective Learning

The first six pages in this section are about these six learning strategies. Developed by a team of cognitive psychological scientists interested in research in education. Their focus is on the ‘science of learning’. They’ve been working on helping students, teachers and parents understand learning and how we learn.
